Chers auditeurs, ce soir , à 20h30 , nous revenons à la série praise to.
Il s’agit pour être exact , d’un PRAISE TO & FRIENDS !
Et l’élément central de ce programme , c’est encore un souvenir des années new wave des U.K. , souvenir peut-être ,mais encore fort actif , le crooner de nos années dark, le scandaleux parfois du proto vrai/faux et problématique label « Some Bizarre « , une voix !
Bref c’est MARC ALMOND que nous retrouvons ce soir, le MARC ALMOND de Soft Cell, de Marc & The Mambas , The Flesh Volcano, des Burmoe Brothers et d’une interminable discographie en solo.
Nous ne donnerons bien entendu qu’un aperçu minuscule de sa carrière d’autant plus que nous y mélangerons plusieurs morceaux provenant du répertoire de quelques dames associées à cette grande figure : en l’occurrence AGNES BERNELLE et MELINDA MIEL, avec lesquelles il fit des duos, des concerts, pour lesquelles il composera quelques chansons, et aussi ANNIE HOGAN et son méconnu projet CACTUS RAIN, compagne fidèle de MARC ALMOND au sein des Mambas, des Willing Sinners et de La Magia . Et quelques autres surprises et rencontres . Youpi !
Bref , deux heures autour de Marc Almond et de quelques unes de ses fameuses Divas !!!!!!!
